Week Two of My Fighter Diet Transformation Challenge & My First Virtual Race!

Week Two of the Fighter Diet

My second week on the Fighter Diet has gone well overall.  I did have some moments of wanting to give up and dive into a bagel slathered in peanut butter, but I was good and held strong!!

I lost 7lbs the first week, and I knew that weight loss would slow down after that first week and it did, I lost just one pound this second week.  But that is okay, a pound is a pound, and I am down a total of 8 pounds!!  Plus I am down a total of 6 inches from when I started!!
I can't wait to see what will happen after the full 12 weeks on The Fighter Diet!!

My First Virtual Run!

I ran my first virtual race (5 miles) this weekend!  The run was hosted by Mommy, Run Fast.  I enjoyed myself, had my dog "Rosie" along for the run and she had a blast too!
I am excited for my next virtual run, The Great Cupcake Run,  next weekend!!  Can't wait! :)
I think I'll be looking for some more virtual runs this fall.  If you know of any virtual runs, please let me know the links.  Thanks!! :)
My first virtual run :)

Ok, so I don't run fast, but I do try

Nice job on both your weight loss and your virtual race. Time really doesn't matter, just that you are out there getting healthy and doing it.

Congrats! You should really try a "real" race - the crown energy is so fun, and there are always people participating at every pace, and weight - walkers, runner, etc - but I agree the virtual run was fun, and I'd like to do another one, too! - Sarah

Thanks Sarah. I am doing a Terry Fox Run this fall (for cancer research) and I think I'll look into more "real" races for next year :)

Congrats! And no worries about running "fast"....running is running. A mile is a mile! Doesn't matter how fast you did it, it matters that you did it! :) I agree with Sarah about the energy in a real race. I love the adrenaline I get when surrounded by loads of runners and it's just plain fun. I hope you enjoy the Fox run! I'm liking these virtual races too.

I am sure I'll be doing some "live" runs next year :) The virtual runs are lots of fun though!! (and my dog loves them too)
Hi there, do you have a journal you record your diet and workouts in?? :)

Yes I do keep a paper record of my workouts and of my food. I also keep a virtual diary of my workouts on fddungeon.com
